Wrinkles

Wrinkles are a common skin concern that often develop as a natural part of the aging process. They are typically caused by a combination of factors including repeated facial expressions, sun exposure, smoking, and a decrease in collagen and elastin production in the skin.

Dynamic wrinkles form as a result of muscle movement and include lines such as:

  • Frown lines

  • Crow's feet

  • Forehead wrinkles

These wrinkles are more noticeable during facial expressions like smiling or frowning but can fade when the muscles are at rest. Static wrinkles, on the other hand, are present even when facial muscles are relaxed and are more deep-seated. They are usually a result of collagen and elastin breakdown, gravity, and prolonged exposure to environmental stressors like UV rays.

Facial Volume

Facial volume loss is a natural part of the aging process and occurs when the skin gradually loses its fat, collagen, and elastin over time. This loss of volume can lead to common signs such as:

  • Sunken cheeks

  • Hollow under eyes

  • Deepening of nasolabial folds (smile lines)

  • A less defined jawline

As facial fat diminishes and the skin loses its elasticity, the face can appear saggy, tired, and older. Volume loss can also contribute to a reduction in facial symmetry and a decrease in overall skin smoothness and plumpness.

Rejuran

Rejuran is a popular anti-aging treatment that has gained attention for its skin rejuvenation effects. Also known as PN (polynucleotide) or PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) injections, Rejuran utilises DNA fragments derived from salmon to promote skin healing and regeneration. When injected into the skin, Rejuran will stimulate collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Improves skin elasticity

  • Improves skin texture and tone

  • Reduces lines and wrinkles

  • Improves hydration

Skin Luminosity

Skin luminosity represents the vibrant, healthy radiance linked to nourished and rejuvenated skin. It is impacted by elements such as skin tone, elasticity, and the absence of blemishes like dark circles and sun damage.

Uneven skin tone and blemishes can diminish your skin's glow. A combination of in-clinic treatments and at-home skincare can help brighten and balance your complexion, playing a crucial role in achieving a luminous appearance.

PDO Threads

PDO (Polydioxanone) threads are a popular non-surgical treatment utilised in the field of aesthetic medicine for skin tightening and lifting. These threads are made of a biocompatible material that has been widely used in surgical sutures for many years.

PDO threads are inserted into the skin to create a mesh-like structure that supports and elevates the tissues, ultimately providing a lifting effect. The threads also stimulate the body's natural collagen production, which can further improve skin elasticity and firmness over time.

PDO threads are commonly used to address concerns such as:

  • Sagging skin

  • Drooping eyebrows

  • Mild to moderate facial laxity

The treatment is minimally invasive and typically offers immediate visible results with minimal downtime.

Dark Circles

Dark circles, also known as under-eye circles or periorbital hyperpigmentation, are common skin concerns characterised by darkened or discoloured skin beneath the eyes.

Hereditary factors can contribute to the appearance of dark circles, as certain skin tones and structures may be more prone to pigmentation around the eyes.

As we age, the skin becomes thinner and loses collagen and fat, making the blood vessels beneath the eyes more visible and resulting in a shadowed appearance.
